This is an upbeat piece using only ‘major’ harmonies. There are echoes of ‘In C’, ‘Sloop John B’, ‘Ticket to Ride’, ‘Matthew & Son’ & a host of other 60’s classics from my youth! The name comes from an annual event that takes place in Cornwall.
I have also prepared a shorter fanfare version for brass instruments based around the final tune.
