Crossing Over (1993)

This was recorded for my CD album ‘chill to this’ in 1998 and features the violin playing of Emma Smith. Emma studies at Trinity College of Music where she is in her final year. She plays in the large eclectic band iO & has recently toured Taiwan with her string quartet.

The music mixes classical and folk influences and gives them a slight twist by staying in an 11/8 time signature.
