Neapolitan Sixth (1982) - Part 3

This composition in 3 parts was written for the group ‘Regular Music’ and has been performed many times. It anticipates the concept of re-mixing in that each of the three parts takes a different approach to the material.

This extract is taken from Part 3 - a fast light-hearted radio friendly version with 'duelling saxophones' (Jeremy Peyton Jones and Sarah Homer).

We used to end Regular Music concerts with this and it's been played on Radio 1.

Parts 1 & 3 were recorded on the Regular Music album for Rough Trade in 1985 and a score is available of part 1.
