Hippolyte & Aricie (1983/4)

I have written several pieces based on an unusual chord sequence from Rameau’s opera ‘Hippolyte & Aricie’.

This extract is taken from the two movements recorded on Regular Music’s debut album which were toured in concerts round Britain.

The recording was made at Falconer studios in Camden in 1985 and the musicians are:
