Consider this town (2006)

This is one of the first pieces I've written with Logic Pro. It uses software instruments and some Apple loops. The extract starts at the breakdown in the middle of the song, and the singer is Phil Cashin.

Here are the lyrics:

Consider this town
On a misty moonlit night
Consider this town
At the dying of the light
On a misty moonlit evening
Such as this some time ago
We went out in search of something
Something new that we had never known
Evidently this was our night
Evidently things were so right
I saw you and you saw me
This was something only we could see
Consider this town
On a misty moonlit night
Consider this town
At the dying of the light
....
In the streets of this big city
In the cars and in the bars
There are people hoping something
Magic happens something in the stars
Here are lovers for the first time
Here are words that form in strange rhymes
Eyes that hold a gaze too long
Love is really never right or wrong
Consider this town
On a misty moonlit night
Consider this town
At the dying of the light
